1. About these terms

These Terms govern your use of PayTap (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use PayTap.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to receive SMS at the phone number you register. Your phone number is your identity on PayTap, so keep it current and under your control.

3. Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account and for keeping access to your number secure. Let us know promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use PayTap to:

  • break any law or facilitate fraud, money laundering, or illegal payments;
  • impersonate someone else or send unwanted or abusive messages;
  • probe, disrupt, or attempt to circumvent the Service's security.

5. Demonstration service — no real money

PayTap is currently a demonstration product. Payment flows are simulated and no real funds are moved. Nothing in the Service constitutes a banking, payment, or money-transmission service, and you should not rely on it to send or receive actual money.

6. Third-party providers

PayTap references banks and payment providers (such as Revolut or Wise) to model how a cross-platform hub would route payments. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of those providers, and their own terms would govern any real transfer.

7. Availability and changes

We may add, change, or remove features, and the Service may be unavailable from time to time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date on this page, and continued use means you accept the revised Terms.

8. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, PayTap is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of a demonstration product.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Profile Settings. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or that we are required to act on by law.
